A Girl Named Zippy

This month, Sara, has chosen a great book for us to read.
It is called "A Girl Named Zippy: Growing Up Small in Mooreland, Indiana. By Haven Kimmel
I've heard this is a fantastic book and I am excited to read it.
It was a New York Times Bestseller and it was one of "The Today Show" book club books.
Let's start the summer off right and read!

I started it last night and thus far I am enjoying it. It's just an enjoyable book to read. I like the flow of it. Good choice!

Am I the only one commenting and/or reading this? Well, if I am ok- well, everyone :0) I liked this book- easy, simple, enjoyable, and funny book. Made me think about my own upbringing. I wondered if people would think it was strange or normal- I think about it and think it's normal- but then it always seems what you do is normal- and then you tell other people about it and compare it their upbringing and realize it may have been a little off compared to mainstream America. Zippy was a fun girl and I liked her- I am curious about her and what she is like now as an adult. Anyways, if anyone else reads it and wants to discuss it- I am ready to roll!

Wow you are quick. I'll be honest, I just started it today. I've been trying to finish up another book, but I'm on track now and will for sure be done by the end of the month.
