Away We Go
Lets get this club started! I am excited to start reading new books and hearing all of your thoughts. Let me know what suggestions you have like should we read one book a month or two? What are some of your favorite books to read? Also, remember please do not judge a book by it's cover. I hope you will all give every book we choose a fair chance. Even if you don't like the book choice one month, you may love it the next. Input, input please!

Jen, I think you should suggest the first book. Mom
I think one per month is good. Then say after the 20th or so people can start commenting about the things they liked/didn't like (that way it's not spoiled for those of us that read slower).
Yay! I am excited. I will try to think of some good books this weekend!
I read on a blog that the book "Dear John" by Nicholas Sparks was really good. He is the same author who wrote The Notebook and Message In a Bottle.
I have recently read "A Thousand Splendid Sun" which is by the same author who wrote "The Kite Runner" that is coming out on film in a month or so. I know I already read it but I highly recommend it and I would love to read it again. One book per month is plenty... I am already reading a ton for school so I couldn't do more than that.
One more thing... are you going to send us invitations to join so we can post?
I have a book suggestion. Atonement, by Ian McEwan. The movie is coming soon. But I heard it is suppose be a good book. The same directer who did pride and prejudice with Keira Knightly is doing the Movie with Keira Knightly. It is set in WW2 days. Just a thought.
I check the site bookmovement.com for book club books. I found one today that sounded good about Italy in WWII, A Thread of Grace by Mary Doria Russell. I think it sounds really good.
